This was my second time staying at Hotel Clauzel, and was very happy to return as love the location on Rue des Martyrs, and am able to walk everywhere within central Paris from here. The room had been recently refurbished and although had just the basic amenities, was very comfortable and is great value for money. The staff are lovely and I was able to store my bags after checkout.

-location -friendly staff -luggage storage -plenty of shops around -small elevator -we could check in earlier as the room was ready -good water pressure, towels, soap -housekeeping everyday -little balcony on the fifth floor -little fan in the room as it was very hot -iron available at the reception -nice lobby to hang out -extra toilette at the lobby -we did not experience any noise from other rooms -the price was also ok for this time of the year and this location. Take the bus number 30 from the main street and get off at the Eiffel tower in 1 go! (40min) We did not take the breakfast as we wanted to eat at the local bakeries .
