We love Charles V and have stayed several times - a beautiful hotel in a quiet part of tge Marais district. A beautifully appointed room, very large by Paris standards. Large bathroom (no bath but a good shower). Pleasant breakfast area with a great selection. Helpful staff. Metro at St Paul and Sully-Morland a short walk away, and a number of very useful bus lines. Lovely cafes and restaurants to choose from in the neighbourhood.

Decor is great, calm and stylish. Lovely room - recommend paying more for deluxe as it is worth it - standard was less so and we arranged to change.. Location is wonderful. Staff helpful and friendly.
