Cute place, ideally located, very nice breakfast (delicious pao de queijo and different variety of fresh fruit everyday). Staff were very kind.

My stay at Pousada Marendaz was exceptional. The place is right next to the historical centre of Paraty. It can get a little loud at night so bring your earplugs, if you are a light sleeper like me, I was fine with my Loop earplugs. I felt like a queen at the breakfast, it's so plentiful and tasty, there are so many different things to choose from (i am coeliac and was a bit cautious if there will be food for me but i felt spoilt with all different foods). Overall, couldn't imagine a better stay.

A very comfortable and clean pousada in a great location,close to the old city and the bus station. Breakfast was exceptional ,among the best I've had in Brazil and I've been living and travelling here for over 20 years!The staff were attentive and friendly and the air conditioning in the bedroom efficient and silent.Outstanding value for money!

Beautiful property, without doubt the best breakfast in Brazil that I have tried. Friendly staff. Nice rooms with decent beds and showers.
