A great base for a car expedition around Corfu. Clean, well-kept apartments, well-equipped kitchen, efficient and working air conditioners. A warm and welcoming hostess, born in Finland, who speaks English well and is ready to answer all questions about the island. And a friendly Greek host who likes to talk about football and knows who Lewandowski is. A few hundred meters to the west is a good beach and a couple of tavernas. The house has a small well-kept garden with a gazebo for a picnic and a working grill. A very pleasant place for evening gatherings with the singing of cicadas overlooking the mountains. I will separately mention the kittens, which our children were delighted with. The problems with mosquitoes, which some previous guests wrote about, seem to have been resolved. Or are more typical of the rainy autumn-winter season. At least, mosquitoes (and once a wasp) only flew in to us if we forgot to close the door to the veranda. There are thick mosquito nets on the windows. However, there weren't many mosquitoes in the yard either.

The host was very welcoming and was always around when we needed anything. The villa was also located in a very quiet place and had all the facilities that we needed.
