I especially liked the traditional cabins which still have jungle vibe. As I was traveling by bike I felt especially welcome!

Huge bedroom and bathroom, very well equipped with a large adjoining terrace to rest and read. Even though our room was not air-conditioned we had enough fans to keep it cool. Very cosy pool to refresh and relax. Excellent breakfast. 5 minutes walk to the beach and the turtle center.

What an incredible, laid back and relaxing place to spend your days on this side of Costa Rica. Lieke and Michael have managed to create a jungle-like oasis where I felt completely immersed in the natural environment on Guanacaste. Hearing the birds, monkeys and the ocean whilst lounging by the pool with a great restaurant and bar to the side made for the most relaxing getaway. The breakfast is superb and the staff is extremely friendly and diligent. Lieke and Michael were also extremely helpful in answering any questions and stopping by for a casual chat (given that solo travel can get lonely!). The atmosphere at Mundo Milo is so laid back that I didn’t once feel out of place sitting on my own, having a drink or reading my book!
