The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.The Langkawi Tourism Fee will be changed to RM10 per room, per day starting 1st January 2025 onwards in line with the Langkawi Municipal Council.For key events, a charge of RM20 per night will apply. Key events include Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace (LIMA), Le Tour De Langkawi, Ironman, and Oceanman Malaysia.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

Arriving at the Resort was so welcoming by the staff especially Christine, all our questions and requests were well taken care of. The breakfast was fantastic and at the Grill restaurant the food was excellent with a great selection of fresh seafood. The staff’s enthusiasm was so great, my wife celebrated her birthday there with special attention paid to her with a cake and other small gifts, it felt so special. Thanks especially to Michelle at the grill Restaurant and Christine at the front reception & all the amazing staffs for their pleasant hospitality.

Staying in the private pool and beach access suite was an unforgettable experience. The suite featured exclusive access to a pristine beach with our own private pool, offering unparalleled relaxation. The staff were exceptionally attentive, ensuring every need was met with warmth and efficiency. The cuisine surpassed expectations with its exquisite flavors and variety, leaving a lasting impression. The staff at the Horizon were extremely attentive. Additionally, the spa facilities provided a serene retreat, perfect for rejuvenation after a day of indulgence. Our recent stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi was nothing short of outstanding. Nestled in one of the most peaceful and beautiful locations we’ve experienced, the resort offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and luxurious comfort. What truly made our stay memorable was the warm and attentive service from the staff, especially at the Horizon Bar. The team there went above and beyond, offering exceptional service and a genuine sense of hospitality that made us feel incredibly welcome. That said, everyone we encountered throughout the resort was consistently friendly, helpful, and professional. The food and cocktails were excellent — worth the premium compared to local prices. It is highly recommended if you're looking for a tranquil escape with top-tier service, stunning scenery, and a touch of indulgence.

Everything was so perfect from the time we arrived and was promptly greeted by the friendliest staff. The hospitality was exceptional. Breakfast spread was simply amazing. The both bars and Coco bar by the beach offered such good refreshments. Food was simply superb!
