We had a wonderful stay at Serene Waters Homestay in Panjim. The property truly lives up to its name — calm, peaceful and beautifully located right beside a flowing river, surrounded by nature. Waking up to the gentle sound of water and birds made the entire experience incredibly relaxing. A special mention to Jacqueline who was extremely warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Her hospitality made us feel right at home. The property is managed by Benjamin and Benny, who were equally friendly, attentive and always ready to help with anything we needed. The food was delicious and homely, adding to the comfort of the stay. Whether it was sitting by the river, enjoying the quiet surroundings, or simply unwinding in the peaceful atmosphere, the whole experience felt refreshing and memorable. If you’re looking for a calm, scenic stay near Panjim away from the usual crowds but still close enough to everything, Serene Waters Homestay is a fantastic choice. We truly enjoyed the hospitality and would happily return again.

Amazing location, waterside. Serene and peaceful watching nature at its best. Kingfishers , kytes, cormorants, flying fish and a family of 6 otters. Host Jacqueline, Manager Benny, Raj, his wife and sister, they were all so attentive and helpful,made our stay perfect. Nothing too much trouble. Room clean and facilities adequate. Food excellent. Served in a professional manner. Used goa mile taxis to visit local attractions . Thank you all for a wonderful stay. We will definitely return and recommend to others.

My stay at serene waters was so great, where to start. Everything was excellent, the food was amazing, the staff was so friendly and catered to everything, the rooms are beautiful with your own kettle for teas and coffee, a beautiful breakfast is provided, that sets you up for the day. The view across the river is breathtaking, if you wake up early enough you have the joys of kingfishers having their breakfast, so peaceful just sitting and listening to the birds. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone and whenever I go back to panaji, I will definitely make serene waters my place to stop, so happy they really make you feel special and they go that extra mile to facilitate. Big love to you guys and I hope to stop again soon Steve (Zippy)
