The staff. Always friendly happy and helpful. The parrots and the owl. The location. The breakfast l. The bar is always busy. Was impressed how quickly and regularly everywhere was cleaned. Bins emptied constantly even early morning.

The hostel is about 5 minutes from the given address of Maria Mulata. I was given a welcome drink, a juice freshly made with fruit. That indeed was special. I was also given insect repellent to use. I left the bottle) on the little desk where the rooms are for guests. Drinking water was avaibable for guests. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom was a bit awkward, with a wooden floor that easily got wet and no soap given for washing hands. Overall, the staff were friendly and polite. The location was compromised by a dirt road with large mud puddles making it difficult to get to the hostel.

It was a very nice stay at the hostel. The garden is insane. You can chill in the hammocks and watch the funny animals in the trees (parrots, owls, squirrels...) The staff is very nice and super friendly and helpful. You get a free welcome cocktail. Even in the bar is music at night, the back part of the garden is quite enough to chill. But it's also nice to hangout at the bar. It's only a 2 minutes walk to the beach.
