The beach is incredible! Our room was amazing, stunning big terrace but it is expensive, and whilst beds are so comfortable we didn’t sleep that well as it is quite loud - we could hear the kitchen staff and often had cats or something climbing on our roof waking us up. He room was luxurious, for palolem particularly. We loved it! The pool is tiny but ticks a box if you need one. We didn’t use it as the beach is lovely swimming. Staff are so lovely! We would have loved to stay longer, a great find. Thank you!

The Ark Comforts is a little bit of paradise. Within one day we extended our trip from 4 nights to 7. The location at far end of Palolem beach is separated by a small rocky headland that creates the feel of a private beach, without people selling and hassling. We started every day with short 10 step stroll from bed to the waves for a swim. Lush. The walk to main Palolem beach for restaurants and stuff is very low effort 3 mins over a path. The staff at Ark were super helpful from before arrival organising taxi straight from airport to the hotel, helping us continuously through our stay. The rooms are boutique luxurious, beds excellent and bathrooms beautifully designed. The pool is great, kids loved having as well as the sea. A little corner of lush paradise in beautiful goa, including sunsets every day

The Ark Comforts: This place is incredible, but I’m a bit torn with this review. We narrowed down 50 hotels down to one, and we chose ‘The Ark Comforts’. We are so pleased we did. It is located in the most perfect spot on Palolem beach, tucked away in a cove with a private beach setting. ‘The Ark Comforts’ has customers come and stay as short as 1 night just to experience what they have here, a special place, vibe and ambience. What you pay for is the view. The view is breathtaking. You wake up in paradise. I literally can’t describe it any other way. The rooms are very well equipped with pretty much everything you need, as expected. A good size depending on which ‘comfort’ you book. The beds and mattresses are very comfortable. The bathroom is a good size with all toiletries supplied. The staff here work super hard, long hours. Super friendly and willing to do anything for you. They keep the area nice, neat clean and tidy making the experience more enjoyable. The restaurant has a good variety of food on their menu at reasonable prices too. Happy hour is great from 3pm to 6pm. ‘The Ark Comforts’ has a complete package to enjoy your stay in Goa. I would say probably the best place to stay in Palolem, however all the above comes with a big BUT… We stayed in 3 Hotels in 2 weeks all 5 star. Would I constitute ‘The Ark Comforts’ as 5 star? No, unfortunately.

The location was stunning. Close to the main beach but has its own ‘private’ beach. Excursions and trips from the hotel were over priced. Rooms were unique and cosy with amazing views and sunset from the balcony.

Travelled with an all girls group, location was incredible, staff were great. Restaurant food was excellent and rooms were beautiful. 5* stay! Felt very safe

We got a sea view - it was waking up in paradise Staff were lovely we were both very sick (nothing to do with Arks or surrounding areas) and staff were very patient with us, making sure our room still got cleaned and just overall lovely - thank you!!!

Close to everything you needed and yet also felt secluded. It’s really like a private beach! Enjoyed watching the comings and goings on the beach. Don’t forget to visit Monica and Debbie in their shops. Also… great breakfast and don’t miss cocktails up the stairs on the left of the beach!

We chose this place for quietness and peace after attending a Big Fat Indian wedding in Colva, and I must say this is a place if you are looking to unwind. There was no disturbance nor any music noise. The place is at the end of Pallolem beach and located at the end of fishermens’ village. Going to sleep with the sound of waves was phenomenal and the sunset right outside our room was breathtaking. We have walked on Pallolem beach every morning. It is a safe place. Food was very good. Bharat in the restaurant looked after us very well and Raj cooked our continental breakfast to perfection. The entire hotel staff was really nice. The cleaning ladies cleaned our room daily with a smiling face and brought us clean towels on a daily basis.
