We spent the last three nights of our trip, returning from Portugal, in this wonderful home in the Picos and couldn’t have asked for a better ending. The property is beautifully laid out, meticulously cared for, and decorated with real love, by the lady of the manor — it felt like a true home away from home. Our hosts, Carlos, his wife, and their adorable dog, looked after us as if we were family. Despite the language barrier, their warmth came through in every interaction (and with a little help from translation apps). The house itself had everything we needed and more. The games room was a real highlight, taking us and our nearly grown-up kids straight back to our childhood with its arcade machine, foosball, board games, and so many thoughtful touches. For a rural location, the internet connection was surprisingly fast and reliable too. This is the kind of place you remember long after you’ve left — a perfect combination of comfort, charm, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended.

Great facilities and very clean. Very nice welcoming host. Little English but we have little Spanish! We managed to communicate between us.

A very welcoming couple running the place, the garden is kept in a absolutely stunning state (we had the apartment with the garden) there is also a laundry room and an amazing kids playroom.
