This is a really nice apartment with a fantastic terrace that’s actually on the roof—perfect for chilling out or having breakfast with a view. The place also has a fully functional kitchen, so you can easily cook your own meals. There’s a supermarket right downstairs (Conad, plus another one nearby), which makes things super convenient. The rooms aren’t very big, and most have shared bathrooms, but for the price, they’re absolutely worth it. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming—you really feel at home. The highlight of the place is definitely the rooftop terrace. It overlooks the surrounding rooftops (often with cats lounging around) and the coastline in the distance. You can even catch a glimpse of Monte Pellegrino and enjoy a wide panoramic view over Palermo and the mountains. Honestly, it’s such a relaxing spot that the only downside is how hard it is to leave the roof and go explore the city.

Warm (the days we stay were rainy and cold) and with lift. Location is good close to train station. Share kitchen allows you to prepare meals. Staff are nice.

One of the highlights is the amazing terrace on the roof, where you can sit, work, relax, or enjoy your breakfast. Breakfast is included, and the staff are extremely cordial and welcoming. It’s not right in the city center—it’s about a 20-minute walk—but it’s conveniently located near a university. There’s also a Conad supermarket just downstairs, which is very handy. The property also features a fully equipped kitchen if you want to prepare your own meals. The only “drawback” is that it’s actually very hard to leave the terrace—you get these beautiful views over the rooftops of old Palermo, with cats lounging on the roofs, the sea in the distance, and even a glimpse of Monte Pellegrino. You kind of find yourself just staying there instead of going out to explore the city. Highly recommended—just make sure to book in advance, as availability is limited due to the excellent price-to-value ratio.
