The place is quiet and cosy, situated among trees and flowers. Perfect choice for chill-out, nobody will disturb you here, except singing birds and lovely cats:) Hosting family are very lovely, charming people! Super friendly, welcoming and helpful! The house is built in traditional manner, which is really authentic. At the same time you have all modern facilities inside, and everything you need for a comfort stay. It' s nicely decorated with pieces of traditional household items and hand-made decorations. In the kitchen there's everything you need: cooker, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, fridge. Washing machine is also available. The apartment unites tradition and modern technology, it's a great experience! There's also a lovely terrace, it's nice to have breakfast on the fresh air in the shadow of a fig tree leaves. Also the house is situated in the mountain area, which means you have fantastic views around and plenty of hiking/tracking routes. A couple of them are just in 10-15 minutes walk. Others are easily reached by car, for example Troodos national Forest Park is very close here, which is, imho, one of the most beautiful places in Cyprus. This place made feel like I want to spend some more time here, and return again!

Getaway from it all holiday break. Interesting, quiet area. Lots of Churches and history. Square with restaurants very close. George extremely helpful and kind. I really relaxed.

A simple, authentic accommodation in the heart of Pitsylia region. I found Palechori to be a great base for bicycle riding. Fantastic, traffic-free roads abound up here, along with the ancient churches dotted around. I stayed here for two weeks in May with very pleasant weather (cool mornings, very warm days, barely any precipitation). Very friendly people in the village which has everything you might need (shops, restaurants, bars, mechanic workshop - apart from a pharmacy, alas - there is a hospital, though). The stone walls are a respite from the heat on hectic days. Comes equipped with a heater for the colder months. Can't praise the place enough! If you want to have an authentic stay in Cyprus, there's no better place (and region, in general!) to go.
