Simple, cozy, and clean. The host and his family were very friendly, always ready to help, and made it feel like home. I would definitely recommend this place. When my car wouldn't start because I forgot to turn off a light, they did everything they could to fix it and help me. Thanks for that!

The apartment was nice and clean, it had a nice windy terrace where you could sit and it was two steps from the main square, 5 minutes on foot from the Folklore Museum which you must visit. We were really lucky because the kind girl who works there told us there would have been local music and dancing that same night and it was great fun. The beautiful beach is 2,5 km from the apartment, you can walk there or rent a bike. If you love windsurf it is the place for you. The owners Giorgi and Chrisanta are really nice and helpful people. If you travel by bus remember there are no buses that reach Paleochora on Saturdays and Sundays. Get all the information at Sitia bus station. Also, buses for the main cities change their timetable on Saturdays and Sundays.

Location was good. Near the main square of the village and in driving range of a variety of archeological sites and nice beaches. It’s also in the Geopark which has a wide range of interesting geological sites. Quiet town.
