nice rooms, cleaners come in everyday and freshen up also providing new towels:) 10 minute walk to the beach, easy walk with lots of touristy shops on the way Good restaurants near by Bella the puppy that lives here is so cute!!

The most friendly and welcoming staff we have encountered in Zanzibar. The owner and his cute puppy Bella was present everyday, checking in on us and making us feel at home. Good breakfast and amazing coffee!

We stayed at Garten Living for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. It’s a very budget-friendly option — the price is incredibly reasonable for what you get in return. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed with great aesthetics. The garden outside is also a lovely, peaceful space to relax. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, always happy to help with anything we needed. One of the highlights was definitely the on-site restaurant — hands down one of the best food spots in Paje! You must try their burger, and their coffee is excellent too. The beach is less than a 10-minute walk away, which is perfect if you're looking for a quieter stay away from the beach crowds and noise. Highly recommend if you're looking for a cozy, affordable, and welcoming place to stay in Paje!
