Mike is a fantastic host, not forgetting to mention his beautiful little dog. WOOKIE. Breakfast is plentiful with bonus fabulous view over the water. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. and we had everything we could possibly want...including a spa in our little patio area. The location is perfect for a stay in The Bay of Islands.

Our stay was amazing. Mike greeted us and shared info on the surrounding region. The room was great, with fantastic views and lovely garden area. Breakfast each day was delicious and offered a full range of items. It was lovely to come “home” each afternoon.

Everything was great, excellent views, sparkling clean comfortable room and facilities, nice breakfasts. Mike is a great host, we felt very welcomed. He recommended many local attractions to visit.

What a find! So glad we booked 5 nights in the largest suite at Mike’s place . From the first communication I shared with Mike I knew he took pride in providing a great experience, having an intimate knowledge of the area. Breakfasts were yummy and filling and he took a genuine interest in his visitors and their plans . Our privacy was maintained at all times but we knew he was there if we needed any help . We were very appreciative that he went out of his way to help us out with transport as we had arrived by bus . The room inclusions had been well thought out and the ever changing view from our lounge area was so special as was our personal outdoor spa that was immaculately clean .
