This is my second time staying at Shash Dine EcoRetreat, and I bring everyone who comes to visit me in the Southwest here. It’s simply breathtaking. The landscape is absolutely stunning, with wide open skies, peaceful silence, and views that stay with you long after you leave. The retreat is beautifully designed and thoughtfully maintained, off grid yet equipped with every comfort you could possibly need. Every detail is carefully curated, creating an atmosphere that feels both authentic and incredibly cozy. There’s something truly special about disconnecting here while still feeling completely at ease. The host is always kind and accommodating, happy to help with any needs, provide recommendations, and share meaningful insights about Navajo culture. This place has completely stolen my heart, and I already can’t wait to come back.

Very unique stay in the heart of Navajo culture. We stayed in the sheep wagon which was very cool, well equipped and cosy bedding. But it is cold, so make sure to pack accordingly. Warm showers and breakfast were greatly appreciated. Great hosts with recommendations for the local area
