Easy reach and reasonably maintained rooms. They gave us an upgrade with a view. Lots of summer pubs close by because of the university quarters.

I picked this hotel as it was just outside the historical centre with parking, although as it is in the conference and university area, I bagged the last parking place available on a Tuesday afternoon. It’s twenty five minutes walk to the Piazza delle Erbe in the centre, about the same to the Scrovegni Chapel and slightly less to the station with all the tram building works in the way. Room, breakfast and the one dinner I had were very good and there are fabulous views over Padova from the breakfast/dinner room on the 12th floor.
