My two-night sojourn at Hotel Igea was a very positive experience, and I definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in Padova for work or leisure. It is centrally located, very close to the Basilica of Saint Antony, and right in front of the hospital. Staff was very kind, helpful, and gave me the feeling of being truly welcome, as in the spirit of Veneto people. The breakfast buffet has a limited variety but the quality is high. My room was small but spotless, especially the bathroom, and the bed very comfortable. I managed to rest well and recover from jet lag, also because the neighborhood is relatively quiet.

Situated in the city centre, the hotel can be tricky for parking if you’re travelling by car. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was satisfying
