cosy clean. Attention to all the details that make a stay very pleasant. Small but perfectly formed. We were the only ones eating on a Sunday evening. We had booked ahead to say we wanted to eat at the hotel . They put us in the snug at the front of the hotel which was very cosy and it felt like a home dining experience.

The hotel was homely and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Decided to opt for the full English breakfast and was definitely worth the extra. Would highly recommend this hotel and when we next visit Burnley will be staying again.

This is our second stay we love the hotel, the location, the cottage, the attitude of staff were great BUT your booking system both on line and in person is SHOCKING. Four attempts on line, got to hotel, evening staff said they did not have a record of it so we did it again THEN in the morning in the breakfast room no record of our breakfast booking. Shoddy, appallingly bad, unprofessional and such a basic thing for a hotel to get right. We asked for breakfast 930 but did not get it til gone 1015 so we were then late checking out. For our first stay we also encountered the annoying on line breakfast booking debacle but this time was even worse. The hotel management should treat this breakfast booking issue as a priority as everything else is great.

Easy to find. Staff very friendly and helpful on checking in. The room was lovely. Clean, comfortable and fresh. Everything was provided. We enjoyed the coffee and cake it was delicious. The shower was hot and the toiletries fantastic. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast the next day was fabulous and lots of it. Would definitely stay again.
