I like the location and Resort facilities both. The Asilomar state beach is a 10 minute walk. The transportation to Monterey is just outside the Resort. It makes things very easy for someone without a car. The resort staff is very nice and friendly. The facilities are very good and up-to-date. Highly Recommend.

Excellent stay at The Monarch Resort. We arrived on March 30 after an issue with another reservation, and finding this hotel was a great relief. The price was better than other options nearby, and it exceeded our expectations. Beautiful, cozy, and in a great location. The breakfast was excellent, the staff was kind and attentive, and the room was always clean. Definitely 5 stars. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it.

Good location, close to the beach and the path. The breakfast was good , room comfortable and quiet area.
