Location , architecture and the ambience of the lobby. We loved walking to the beach. They had complementary s’more stuff by the fire pit outside of the cabin and kids enjoyed them very much.

The location of the Asilomar Conference Ground was awesome. As I was attending a conference in the same center, it was very convenient. The ground is quite big, so it is best to navigate with a map. It was easy to get connected with people staying there and enjoy the view whenever we could. A partial view of the ocean could be seen from front side of the Long View North cottage. The reception and other common buildings have a very rustic view with great ambience. Bonus was the 17 mile drive was close by. The Big Sur was just an hour away.
