The room was very clean and comfortable with a very good ensuite. The dinner was very good and, although breakfast was slightly haphazard , cooked items were very tasty. The hotel is a lovely base for local hillwalking.

Breakfast excellent, room comfortable albeit a bit dated . Staff very welcoming and location excellent for anyone travelling to Edinburgh or beyond as we were.
