As we booked to visit our new granddaughter in the nearby hospital, the location was excellent for this purpose. The area around still has a 'village' feel about it with lots of local amenities. Lovely pub with good food. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Had the weather been better, the beer garden looked great.

Old Headington is charming and the Black Boy is at the heart of it. A short walk through the park to buses into town. Generous breakfast included and very friendly people.
