We had such a lovely stay at the Bed & Breakfast in Dannevirke while traveling as a family with our 9-month-old baby and 3,5 year-old. Breakfast was good. The room was tidy, clean, and very family-friendly. We also enjoyed a simple and nice dinner (burgers and schnitzel) at Total Planlos in Owschlag, just an 8-minute walk from the B&B. The location was convenient – close to the town center and just around the corner from a gas station, which was perfect for filling up. We were on our way to Denmark, and this B&B was a perfect stop to rest and recharge before continuing our journey the next day. We left feeling refreshed and well cared for. Highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Dannevirke, especially families with young children. We would gladly stay again!

The place is one of its kind. The anecdote goes that it was first developed as an "artists' Nirvana" and it might be true for the vibes are very good in this place. My room was giant with enough space for the double bed and staple beds, nice sitting corner, closets, etc, plus a large bathroom. The room had sliding glass doors towards a lovely terrace. The hosts, Carsten and Fanny, are warm, fun, welcoming and have a lot of stories to tell and tips to give. Around the corner there is a very affordable gas station. It is a great place to stop at when going to or from Denmark by car. Highly recommended.
