Catlins Retreat is a unique, historic guest-house an easy walk to the few dining options in town. Our host has added so many quaint thoughtful touches to this room and the breakfast provided was very generous. A real taste of yester-year and a great base to explore this beautiful region.

Warm welcome from the friendly owner. Spacious room with old world charm , highlighting the history of the building and town. Comfortable and quiet, even though it's on the main road. Good value.
