This was a fantastic stay, Rachel & Rolf are great hosts, very kind, attentive and they genuinely want you to have the best time at their lovely place. The house is spacious, we were 3 couples and we had more than enough space. You have your own cold plunge pool to refresh, your own fire pit and your own watering hole to watch (and listen) to the animals that come to drink. Its in the middle of nowhere (30mins on a dirt road to the nearest town) and that's exactly what we wanted so that was perfect for us. Stargazing at night was just incredible. We came to the property to visit Etosha on the first day (roughly 90mins drive to Anderson gate) and we decided to book a game drive and a night-time safari with Rachel & Rolf on our second day which turned out to be a great decision! I really recommend booking at least one of the activities with them because the experience will be very unique and different to Etosha; they collectively know everything about their property, the animals and the plants and the culture of the people leaving nearby so you will not regret it. It was very convenient that we could pay with a card because we didn't carry cash with us. I really really recommend booking this place if you want a unique and authentic experience, you will not regret it!

We expected that Etosha would be the finale of our 20 days trip to Namibia and Big Cats would be the dessert. It turned out to be the other way around : Etosha was the appetizer, Big Cats the finale. We never had a welcoming like in Big Cats : you feel like the King and Queen and the host will do everything to make you feel at home. The house is spacious and decorated with an exquisite eye for detail. The surrounding is terrific. There is passion all around, in every inch.

The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking, and the house itself is spacious, beautifully decorated, and full of charm. Rolf and Rachel are incredible hosts – warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything you need. The sunset safari was without a doubt the highlight of our trip, and the private chef dinner was an unforgettable experience. The food was outstanding and the whole evening had a magical atmosphere. I truly can’t recommend this place highly enough – it was perfect in every way!
