Everything! The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The room was wonderful, with a really good shower, and mosquito net on the window, which is essential in the summer. The breakfast was really good, with some home-made products. Really lovely! Due to the weather being good, we had breakfast outside, looking towards the dam. So peaceful.

We are two friends in our 70s. I booked Oficina de Joe after reading all of the excellent reviews and because of the location but we were both overwhelmed by the kindness and thoughtfulness of Gitte . She was there to greet us on arrival and seeing me struggle with the steps in the garden upgraded us to the chalet. From that moment nothing was too much trouble including bringing firewood for the heater when it turned cold one night . We loved the breakfasts and the artistic objects decorating the house and garden. There is a spacious terrace with views of the lake where I was able to paint whilst my friend did a walk close to the Lake . It was a perfectly relaxing weekend. We arrived as strangers and left as friends. Thank you so much Gitte.

The hosts generosity with food and drink , as well as information about hikes in the area was much appreciated. Loved the breakfasts and view. The rooms were very comfortable. Highly recommend the hikes in the area to waterfalls and natural pools, such as Sete Logoa and Cascata De Cela Cavalos.
