“Perfect”

I recently stayed here and honestly, it was one of the most relaxing experiences I've had in a long time. The place is incredibly quiet – no traffic noise, no crowds – just peaceful, with beautiful nature all around. You really feel like you can disconnect and unwind. The hotel itself is in excellent condition – everything feels well taken care of. The room was spacious, the bathroom was large and clean, and the air-conditioning worked perfectly (which was a huge plus during the warmer days). I also really loved the pool area – it’s beautifully set up and ideal for lounging around without it ever feeling crowded. Breakfast was a highlight. It’s all homemade, and you can tell – fresh fruit, warm bread, and the cakes… wow. I’m still thinking about them. Best of all, there were no lines or waiting around, just a calm, easy start to the day. And finally, a special mention to the owner – such a kind and genuine gentleman. He made us feel more like we were visiting family than just guests at a hotel. That kind of warmth really makes a difference. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for peace, comfort, and a personal touch.

Our experience here has been a highlight for many in our group. We came from Tourem, by foot, and this place has been a necessary, relaxing break from our walk. It’s provided shelter from a bad spell of weather, and exceeded our expectations by providing wonderful hospitality. It was great to converse with the owner, Antonio. His hospitality and warmth has made our stay. Toby enjoyed the sauna and being able to use the pool afterwards. Ted and Matt enjoyed using the games room, playing rounds of billiards and relaxing in the living room. I enjoyed the surrounding area, Outeiro, and the lake. A beautiful view when the sky cleared. Ultimately, we appreciate being able to stay in a location that cares greatly about hospitality with good hearted hosts. A good example of rural Portugal.
