A beautiful setting right on the river — clean, neat, and wonderfully kept. The animals make it extra special: friendly dogs greeting you in the morning, peacocks wandering around, and the cutest little meerkat.

Well kept garden in a beautiful setting. Our cottage was comfortable. Host was attentive and friendly.

The sound of the river flowing brings about a peaceful feel throughout the stay. You can also take a hike along the river and you get a really good view of the pass towards the middle of the hike. The hammock is placed in the perfect location to relax and watch the stars at night. We enjoyed the hot tub as well.

Such a gem in Schoemanspoort next to Grobbelaars river. Loved it! Especially the animal family.
