The location is very good, very central, but still a quiet area in Oudtshoorn. The swimming pool was just what we needed after a hot day on the road. The ceiling fan and the extra fan in the rooms were awesome as Oudtshoorn are very hot in summer time.

We stayed here one night in mid November, 2024. It's a delightful old-fashioned residence, furnished sumptuously, with period decor. The fascinating garden of succulents, with so many cacti coming into bloom, reflects the main business at this address (a succulents nursery). The hostess, Joanne (spelling?), is gracious, informative & chatty. We liked the place.

The location was ideal for sports events - walking distance so no need for car once you arrived. Shops were also walking distance. Safe place to park and leave your car. Later check out was provided which was appreciated.
