“Birthday weekend away, Suffolk - Northumberland.”

Breathtaking views from our room (Percy) generous bed with heated topper, electric fireplace in the room too. Lovely hot shower with enough space for the taller and wider gentleman, or ladies to move about. Jane was an incredible host, very warm and welcoming, but also left us be which was nice. The fire was always lit, and breakfast was delicious, we were the only guests at the beginning of March, which meant we had the beautiful 1400s house to ourselves. Some great eating establishments in the surrounding area, we chose to visit the first and last pub, about a 5 min drive away, and Sycamore the following evening which was about 30 mins south down the A68. We visited Edinburgh during our stay, which only took about 1½ hours, meaning we could be in the city before it got too busy. So all in all a great stay and a wonderful location. We will be back!

It was in beautiful surroundings and a lovely building. The property inside was spotlessly clean. The host Jane is very nice and chatty and we had a lovely night staying there.
