Beautiful and lovely host. It was totally shame that we couldn't arrive earlier due to an inconvenience on the day of our booking however the host was very nice about it and even picked up us from the station even tho we were a bit after the check in time.

Calm and beautiful, perfect to avoid the overcrowding of Kyoto while still being pretty close by train.

The owner was so so lovely, kind and accommodating. He helped us with many things, gave us great recommendations and drive us to the station. We had some great chats too

Peaceful locality yet well served by several nice eateries and convenience stores. Lovely massage chair. Can even do laundry, with outdoor drying. (Bonus for some: Host speaks Mandarin and Korean besides Japanese.)
