Ryokan Overview

Biwako Ryokusuitei offers Japanese-style/Western rooms with Lake Biwako views, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Public indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths are available for all guests, and some rooms come with a private balcony with an open-air bath. A free shuttle is available from JR Ogoto Onsen Train Station, which is a 5-minute drive away and a 20-minute train ride to Kyoto Station.
The air-conditioned rooms come with Japanese Yukata robes, a fridge and a seating area with low tables and cushions. Guests can choose to stay in rooms with Western-style beds or in rooms with Japanese futon bedding and tatami (woven-straw) floors. Guests can watch international programmes on a flat-screen TV (BBC World, Phoenix InfoNews Channel, TVBS and YTN). The en suite bathroom comes with a hairdryer and slippers.
Guests can sing their favorite tunes at the karaoke rooms and purchase local gifts at the souvenir shop. Massages can be requested for an extra cost and you can take walks in the on-site garden.
Traditional multi-course meals featuring Omi beef are served for dinner and a buffet breakfast. All meals are served at the restaurant.

We loved the room and the products and the private bath. The staff were amazingly polite and helpful, and tried very hard to make our stay perfect. We really appreciate the staff. The food was very high quality with a good variety of options available.
