This is a lovely hotel. Our room was on the third (top) floor. It was adequate, not large, but had a huge sunny veranda overlooking the pool. Breakfast was reasonable. We used the restaurant each night which had a 4 course set menu which varied each day. On all occasions it was excellent and very reasonably priced. The hotel is about 1 km from the port and old town. You could walk but the road is a goat track. We chose to drive down town and park in a designated parking area near the castle. Finally the pool! Absolutely superb. The best I’ve seen in any hotel in Italy.

Lovely staff who upgraded us on arrival as it was our honeymoon! The pool area is really lovely too, and plenty of loungers. Loved the spa, had two treatments and a day pass and we loved it. The bar is quite expensive by the pool but not too bad! It’s a short walk into the centre too so ideal location. The breakfast buffet is huge and had a really good selection.

The swimming pool is gorgeous, it overlooks a stunning forest view. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. We also had a massage which was great.
