We stopped in to avoid sleeping in our van during a storm. The cabin was so cosy with the fire going and had the most spectacular views of the mountains. Had everything you need if you need a place to stop for the night.

- loved everything about this place - not often you get to stay in an authentic cottage like this, amazing views of snowy mountains - the fireplace was the highlight - the passing train was a great attraction - the vinyl player got used a lot - felt very private

The rustic cabin is great, with good, basic facilities. Enjoyed the outdoor shower and seeing the occasional train go past. Good location for visiting Arthur's Pass. Loved the nearby stagecoach inn.
