“Good value for money, location and comfort level for a stay at Otaru.”

So many good things to say. When arriving at the building at looking at the facade. You think you should not have booked there. But once you have seen the recently extensive renovation inside, the large common areas and bedrooms, all the cooking essentials provided, and the comfort of the bedroom you regret you have not booked longer. Also terrific location, with convenience store nearby, walkable to Otaru main attractions, and parking available on request. Staff was useful, efficient and friendly.

We were in Hokkaido for 10 days and stayed in 5 different cities. This is by far the most comfortable and best value. We stayed in 4 persons private room with private toilet and really enjoyed our stay. Room is spacious and looks even nicer than in photos. Made use of the kitchen to prepare our breakfast and had it at the comfy lounge area. It's only a short walk to main shops area. Next time, will definitely stay longer there.

The staff were very friendly. There's a Lawson's just opposite on the corner which was very convenient. Very tidy and a nice little old building. Great value for money.
