The hospitality of the Phat team is extraordinary. It's relaxed, calm, and cruisy. Facilities are great, the location is awesome, it's clean and very comfortable. Shuttle service a bonus and Miso Phat morning alarm ( cafe was above my room ) breakfast set up go me out for 1st runs every day. Staff at the Phat Packers give this place the best vibe in Hakuba.

Apart from the fact that the staff were very accommodating, here are the positive points I appreciated during our stay (as a couple): - our private room was very large and the king-size bed very comfortable. - everything was clean - copious breakfast included - free transport in the morning to go to the slopes or for dinner in town. - the staff is very friendly - there's plenty of space to leave your ski gear out to dry. - the hotel is located at the bottom of Tsugaike station (walking distance)

We absolutely loved our stay at the Phat Packers!! Rooms were clean and tidy, beds extremely comfortable, location excellent and a sick mountain right out the back door. Facilities, breakfast, bar etc all great! Staff were super attentive, helped us book restaurants in the main part of town, shuttle in and out was efficient and check in/out was breezy! We are planning to come back again for the next ski season and are planning to stay again. Cheers!
