I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Hotel Meyerhoff. The room was rather plain as is not uncommon in this part of the world but bright, very clean indeed and functional. The bed was comfortable. Temperature in the room was easily adjustable. The breakfast buffet had enough choice and was good value for money. The hotel staff tried their best to keep things COVID safe. But the most impressive aspect of my stay was the friendliness of the staff, particularly owner Reiner Meyerhoff. As soon as I walked through the door after a long trip he was most welcoming and helpful. I had dinner one evening which was tasty indeed with plenty of choice also for vegetarians. Again Reiner was entertaining, friendly, generous and hospitable. Next time I’m in the area I would definitely consider staying there again. Highly recommended.
