This motel offers an "old world" style of accommodation.. The kitchenette was great. the patio and beach access was great. A good place to stay. The owners were great and seem to have developed a consistent return clientelle.

Beautiful location on the lake with private beach area, large attractive patio with tables, chairs, bbqs and umbrellas. Large two bedroom suite with kitchen was very comfortable. Property is older, but has had many improvements and more planned. Staff were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Great coffee shop with light breakfast and snacks next door. Easy walk through lakeside parks to downtown with restaurants and shops. Numerous public beaches nearby. Short drive to many wineries and other attractions. My friend and I both loved Sun Beach and will definitely go back. It’s a smaller, family oriented motel and a nice change from the big chain hotels.

Loved the location, the lake view was great. Nice outdoor patio area. Room was comfortable and clean. The owner was very friendly. There were not many restaurants or shops nearby. There was a lovely walking path along the shore.

Loved being able to walk out the door and into the lake. Really nice lakeside patio area, lots of chairs and water toys. Excellent location in town, walk to restaurants and wineries, managers are extremely helpful, responsive, friendly and always available. Room was very clean and comfortable and concrete block construction means no sounds coming from neighbouring rooms. Was glad to see that both structural and room upgrades are in process.
