The room was pretty clean, and the bed was quite comfortable. When I arrived, the window was intentionally left half open, which was very pleasing, because the day had been a bit hot, so this brought a very nice wind freshness into the room. I liked this attention. The place is easy to find. There was no staff at all when I arrived at the hotel (around 9:00 pm). I had sent the hotel a message to warn about my relatively late arrival -- they did take notice of it, and nicely arranged things (with a very friendly staff person over the phone), but I was only sent that reply a few hours before my arrival, so I originally missed it. Maybe it'd be better to send that message the day before, when possible -- so that one is less likely to miss it during a busy day of traveling.

The hotel is simply LOVELY! Located in walking distance from the city centre, there are lots of free parking spaces in the street; the interior designer deserves a Nobel Prize for minimalistic but 100% functional room furniture; "maritime" decoration theme goes from wallpapers through small artefacts everywhere around up to a "lighthouse" salt shaker or a miniature lifebuoy on the shower wall !!! The rest (clean rooms, friendly and professional staff and rich choice of breakfast food) is quite a standard in Germany.

Thankfully not in the centre of town so easy to park right in front of the door. We were ( very ) early but thankfully were allowed to check in then go into the city. Good breakfast as well ..

Free street parking was available. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Clean and warm room. Easy accessible to public transport. 8 minutes walking to lidle.
