Had a lovely stay in this place. The kitchen had way more equipment than I could ever wish for. The other amenities in the house were also lovely. In general the house is a bit older and has a very nice charm. Sometimes you also meet cool people in the kitchen. I would definitely stay here again.

The place is like a museum . It’s an old house a lot of which is original. Very interesting. I love a place like that.

Unique experience of the old world. Romantic and a little crooked 19. century manor-house hidden behind old trees in a wild and beautiful garden, situated in the heart of Oslo’s best west end, close to trains, trams and buses is a good alternative to the standardised, impersonal hotel rooms of today. Don’t expect perfect lines and straight floors but clean rooms with charming atmosphere. Songbirds in the garden definitely do contribute to make the place feel like the oasis it is.
