Super friendly, amazing staff, simple facilities (it is a hostel after all) but super clean and tidy. Common area is the best bit because you get to meet awesome people.

I had a great time at R Hostel Namba South in Osaka. The common area is big and cozy, perfect for eating or relaxing. There’s a small kitchen with everything you need to cook—like a microwave, fridge etc. The staff are super friendly and always ready to help. I also met other travelers there, which made the stay more fun :D The location is great, just a short walk to the train station and not far from Shinsekai. Everything was clean and comfortable, and I really liked the warm, social atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again :D

I stayed in the female dorm at R Hostel Namba South and was very happy with the room. The bed was comfortable and the price was really good. The staff were kind and gave me great tips on what to see in Osaka.

Apparently it’s quite a social hostel, didn’t experience this as much during my stay but might’ve gotten unlucky.
