Hostel Overview

Offering free Wi-Fi throughout, a free-use kitchen and a hot public bath with a sauna, 大阪ホテルみかど新今宮駅前 Hotel Mikado is a 2-minute walk from Dobutsumae Subway Station. It provides simple accommodation with shared bathrooms.
Guests can choose among a dormitory-style bunk bed, a private Western room and a private Japanese-style room with traditional futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor. Private rooms come with an LCD TV, and all rooms have shared toilets.
The lively Dotonbori shopping street is a 15-minute train trip away, and Osaka Castle is about 20 minutes away by train.
Luggage can be stored at the front desk, and there are free-use internet PCs at the lobby. Showers are open 24/7.
No meals are served. Ramen noodles and drinks can be purchased from the on-site vending machines.

Good value for money, close to train station, he washing machines, comfortable bed, could be cleaner-but overall pretty good

Nice location, friendly team, old school but very nice to refill the battery, with kitchen and is own sendo, clean and organized, extra extra point for free bycicle Thank you :)

When i first entered the room, it was a bit smelly. Not sure if it’s from the tatami. The bedsheet also was not clean, i can see the stained. Toilet, is super dirty especially the shower room.

Best was it was cheap and very near subway stations. Also, the staff are very polite and clean saunas.
