We chose this hotel because we’ve always had good experiences with Mercure, and overall this stay lived up to our expectations. The hotel’s design was stylish, and the room size felt like a comfortable middle ground—larger than our smaller Tokyo room but not as huge as the one we had in Kyoto. With the amount of luggage we were carrying, it felt perfectly spacious. Our only critique would be the lighting. While the sleek, moody ambiance looked great, it wasn’t very practical for my partner when doing her makeup. Adding a magnified, ring-lit mirror would be a great improvement.

Location is great. It's a short walk to dontonbori. The staff were very accommodating when we had to change a room.
