The property was excellent , everything was immaculate! The room was huge and we had sole use of a dining and sitting room with kitchen off it ( other guest was out early and home late ) . The rooms were beautifully presented and very comfortable , we had an on suite and a dressing room .Our view was out over the water . Teresa and Malcolm were lovely hosts , always ready for a chat . Teresa baked her own bread and made her own jam. Breakfast was plentiful. My husband said if we could have given an 11 we would have . There is a hotel nearby where they serve evening meals. Our weather was amazing and with the island games on ,Kirkwall was buzzing with flags everywhere and lots of competitors of all nationalities walking about . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at VitaVer and would recommend it to everyone!!!!

Room was very comfortable and spacious. Our hosts were great fun to talk to and very helpful. A lovely relaxed atmosphere. Great views from the property. Excellent choices for continental breakfast. Happily visit again another time.

Beautifully furnished and huge open aspects from 3 picture perfect windows overlooking the sea .Close to an hotel serving evening meals .Handy for a base ,and easy links by public bus to St Mary's and St Margaret's as we were on bikes ,so used bus one day .There was warm ,dry storage for the bikes in the garage .And lovely ducks ,ducklings and hens !!

What a wonderful location in this lovely part of the country. Our host Theresa was so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Great breakfast each morning and the house is well provisioned and well cared for. All sorts of guides and books on the area are available and the location really could not be improved on. Only a few minutes from the Pentland ferry terminal. Truly brilliant.
