We had a lovely three-night stay at Polrudden in Kirkwall. The room was spotless and comfortable, the location was perfect for exploring the town, and the host was friendly and helpful. The communal kitchen and dining area were very well equipped, making our stay even more convenient. Great value and highly recommended for couples visiting Orkney!

We really enjoyed the location, a £12 taxi ride from the ferry terminal, 5 minute walk to Tesco/Asda/Co-op for groceries, and a leisurely 10-15 minute walk from the cathedral. The communal kitchen was really useful, with designated containers for keeping food in the fridge and on a kitchen shelf. The room had enough space for suitcases and cupboards for hanging. Smart TV, private bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Linen was crisp and clean and the towels lovely and fluffy. Easy parking for our rental car.
