Best deal you can get as a backpacker in Aruba. Great facilities with pool and cosy evening sitting area. Good AC in room. In a residential neighbourhood about 20 min walk from downtown. I had a great time!

The Property: the property itself is pretty nice, with a big yard with pool and well maintained areas just to chill out at any part of the day, especially in the evening. There are several rooms. I stayed in the 4 bunk beds dorm, which was pretty comfortable when the aircon was on (remember that Aruba is a tropical destination e the heat sometimes hits hard). Location: it is not that close to town (Oranjestad). It is just 15 minutes walk to where all the action stands. Being honest, this is not a problem at all. Despite the fact that the neighborhood is so quite and nice to take a walk. There's also a supermarket nearby and some restaurants. Facilities: there is a bathroom exclusively for dorm guests. Nice pool, as I mentioned before and some cozy places to stay and have a beer at the end of a full day of touring in the island. The host: There are several rules that the host demands from the guests, which I can fully understand. As she used to say: any rule has its reasons. Overall, I was amazingly treated and had a good time there.

Very convenient location. Very agreeable pricing. The manager/owner, Barbara, runs a tight ship but that's good when your over 40 and want to leave the rowdy parties for the beach and not be up all night.
