We had a wonderful stay at Opononi Hotel. Staff were amazing along with great customer service. All meals were delicious and generous serves. Location, breath taking Hokianga at its best with harbour views to die for and sand hills in the back ground. We have stayed here before and one of our favourite places to come when in the Hokianga.

This was rated 7.5 on booking but it was much nicer than that. I got a studio and I think it had been recently remodeled. It was quiet and the hotel itself has an active restaurant/bar that is far enough away not to be heard. Breakfast was the usual cereal toast yogurt etc (instant coffee unfortunately) but in a nice setting.
