The location was excellent. The view from the restaurant as well as our room was amazing. The hotel was decorated like a 1970s time capsule. We loved it very much. The food in the restaurant was very nice. The owner was incredibly helpful with our suitcases and assisted us in any questions that we had. We would definitely visit again.

The staff is so friendly and the thai restaurant delicious. It feels very cozy and authentic and the view from the hotel rooms it breath-taking: it's basically at the top of the mountain, but also built into the mountain, so you can oversee whole of Onomichi and nearby islands. I can really recommend staying here if you plan on coming to Onomichi, just be aware of the few steps you have to take, but it is worth it!

The hospitality of the family who owns the place was truly heartwarming. The hotel has a charming 1970s vibe, as if time has stood still, offering a wonderfully nostalgic experience. It felt like stepping into an old Japanese film. Before my stay, I fell ill after eating some seafood, but the kind lady at the hotel restaurant kindly prepared a special rice porridge for me, which was incredibly thoughtful.
