Excellent breakfast, friendly staff who spoke English and were able to assist in using the luggage transport service. Great location for starting or finishing the Shimanami Kaido.

Dont hesitate, just book. Amazing food, super attentive stuff and the boutique hitel experience for a very good price. We spent 4 weeks in Japan and it was by far the best hotel we stayed at.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel, it was much larger than we expected and exceeded our expectations in several ways. The breakfast was a real highlight: high quality, with a great focus on local produce. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, going above and beyond to help us with a number of things. Even when there were language barriers, they made a real effort to communicate using tools like Google Translate, which we really appreciated. The room itself was excellent, featuring a lovely deep bath, plenty of useful amenities and utensils, and thoughtful touches like chocolates left on the pillow. The location was also ideal for cycling the Shimanami Kaido, making it a perfect base for that part of the trip.
